About DairyBio

Kevin Argyle is the Director of Major Innovation Projects for Dairy Australia and co-Director of DairyBio and DairyFeedbase. He provides strategic direction, management and governance to DairyBio and DairyFeedbase which are complex, high value research initiatives. He focuses on merging active management and stakeholder engagement with a strategic approach ensuring the seamless delivery of major new dairy research initiatives on the path to commercialisation.

Kevin was born and bred on a dairy farm in Kairanga – 1.5 hours North of Wellington – Kevin and his wife Jo now own a farm and until they relocated to Melbourne in November 2018 – for Kevin’s role for Dairy Australia – lived on it. Kevin has years of experience in dairy including holding senior leadership roles with major players in the dairy industry including Fonterra, DairyNZ and AgResearch, with a focus on implementation of innovative on-farm research and research initiatives. He was also CEO of Massey University Ventures Ltd charged with commercialising research being undertaken at the Massey University (an agricultural University).
