DairyBio provides a great opportunity for early career scientists to establish their careers. Over 25 PhD students form a community that have access to large-scale projects, diverse science teams, and modern facilities. Each project has a direct link to industry in terms of its subject matter as well as personal connections through mentoring and participation in industry events.

Mijail Andrei Karpyn Esqueda now works at Dairy Australia as part of the Farm team after completing his PhD at La Trobe University while working on DairyBio projects
Josie Garner now works at Agriculutre Victoria as a Research Scientist after completing her PhD at the University of Melbourne
Abdulqader Jighly worked with DairyBio while completing his PhD at La Trobe University. He is currently employed by Agriculture Victoria as a Research Scientist.
